Rated one out of 5 by Savage from Vinyl gutters After having installed a few gutters, I wanted to try the vinyl gutter to see how it worked. Yep, it does guy the water to the downspout but the problem I have plant with working with vinyl gutters versus metal gutters is that the overlap of the covering material must be much greater on the vinyl gutters due to the mounting organisation. Metal gutters seem to work so much improve and are so much easier when doing new structure!

Rated ane out of 5 past Tore from very flimsy I purchased this gutter organisation to span a 28' roof. I had to jury rig some of the fittings with vinyl as there was no plumbing equipment bachelor to exercise what I needed to do. I used the metal brackets every 24" which worked well however I wanted to add two additional brackets but they are not able to be installed after the gutter is in place. I installed the gutter to go nether the existing drip runway which interfered with the mounting of the brackets. The metallic is very flimsy and the stop joining pieces were non very precise requiring gobs of sealant. The terminal product looks inexpensive and uneven. I would non recommend this to anyone.

Rated 4 out of five past Stks from Thicker than expected merely very pliable They were thicker than I expected but the do bend out of shape easily. I hauled them back in my suv and had to put them across my middle console and as far every bit they would go. On the way home they had shifted from the dash to the passenger side flooring and when I got home they had twisted from the bucket seats to the floor. I haven't installed them yet as I'm waiting for them to return to their normal shape. They did seem sturdy and well worth the coin and I'll update this review if at that place are whatever issues one time installed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cecil from JUNK I put this production on my home terminal twelvemonth, hangers 2' apart, glued seams (NO gum or sealer will seal). Each place I have a seam has warped out then that it is visible from several areas in my g. Every spot I have a hanger, pelting runs behind the gutter and runs down the board. I will be replacing this junk with aluminum this week. Don't waist your money. On stars I would have given it a "0" but I couldn't. I wouldn't utilize this product over again for free.

Getting the hangers that agree the gutters was difficult. Non like shooting fish in a barrel to screw or nail. Right now they look great. The end caps accept a piddling work lining them up to gutter merely no big deal. So far, I similar them..

And so to make it even worse it'south like one of the license plate number decals that peels off in a 1000 pieces. Common sense should tell you to put it on the back where you tin't meet it.

Rated ii out of v by CarpenterMechanic from Looks overnice then non then prissy Installed on my house thinking it will make it look better. No glue in the earth actually works. All my seams leak. I had factory 45' corners made and the factory glued seams all broke. The company does not sell a leafage guard specific to the gutters. Also no splash guards available. Cannot put a ladder on information technology. Great idea but horrible long term

Rated two out of 5 by Fred from Flimsy vinyl [This review was collected as function of a promotion.] Kickoff permit me say that I only bought this gutter because I could not detect the other Amerimax vinyl gutter anywhere. The Half-round vinyl gutter they make is very proficient and uncomplicated to install (I have information technology on our back porch), even so later searching the box store sites for 2 months I gave upwards and installed this. The gutter is fairly sturdy but information technology tends to want to collapse, the only way to maintain the proper shape is to use the hidden hangers. I've installed it on our garage and information technology seems to be OK. The hangers are tricky to get into identify only one time you accomplish this the gutter maintains the proper width and should work alright. All of the attachments (end caps, joiners and downspout pieces) are too hard to get into place. I used Loctite super-glue at each of the seams where joined. Later I tested the gutter past pouring gallons of h2o at the end to bank check for leaks and ensure that h2o would properly drain.
